Lying Pirates is a first-to-finish dice game for 2-6 players. A thrilling race for the pirate throne which lasts 10-15 min/player.
The mechanics are inspired by the classic game of liar's dice. We've taken the best parts and combined them with some new twists and turns to give you an experience that is fast, entertaining, and easy to play with tiles, action cards, special dice, and more.
We created more than 200 hand-drawn components, all have a unique style that make every piece a delight to linger upon. All illustrations from tiles to coasters were crafted by Srdjan Vidakovic, an award-winning artist and designer from Serbia.
Thanks to interchangeable tiles, there are over a million different ways to create your own sea map. Once you've mastered the game, you can rebuild the sea and set sail again. Every game is unique and full of surprises.

Ahoy, dear backers!
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the fulfillment process is now officially underway. It's a momentous occasion for us, and we can't contain our excitement!
If you're based in the United States, you may have already noticed an email with tracking information in your inbox. Your copies of Lying Pirates are on their way to you as we speak, and we couldn't be happier to see them setting sail. If you haven't received anything yet, please know that notifications will be sent out in the coming days as your copy is getting ready to be shipped.
A small portion of you have received incorrect tracking information from FedEx Express due to an error. Your shipment has NOT been cancelled. Rest assured that you will soon receive updated tracking information once our partners have resolved their issues, and that you will get your copy of Lying pirates very shortly!
For our Canadian backers, your turn is just around the corner. We're putting the finishing touches in place to ensure a smooth fulfillment process, and you'll soon have your hands on Lying Pirates as well.
As for our backers in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Fulfillment for your regions is on track to kick off in November. Stay tuned for more information!
Now, for our backers in the EU, UK, the rest of the world, and Sweden (Local pickup), we're currently on track for starting fulfillment in early December. We're navigating the waters diligently to ensure that everything goes off without a hitch, and we can't wait to bring the Lying Pirates experience to your shores.

First and foremost, we understand the anticipation you feel. The seas we’ve sailed have been more turbulent than we imagined, but be assured, the treasure (your games) will reach your hands! Here’s a clearer map of our journey:
Our Commitment: We’re giving it our all to navigate these waters and ensure the game reaches you swiftly. Any delay has never been intentional. Some of our global logistics partners promised clear skies but delivered stormy seas, slowing our voyage considerably. On August 6th, we sent identical instructions to all our partners, expecting synchronized efforts. While our US ally has been steadfast, others have been dragging their anchors. Understand this – your frustrations mirror our own. We want nothing more than for you to dive into the game and share the fun with others.
Communication: In the vast digital seas, some emails to retailers may have gotten lost in the ‘Spam Bermuda Triangle.’ We’re striving to cast our message wide, but with limited time, we can’t always double-check every communication avenue you’ve provided.
Shipment Tracking: When your game leave our warehouses, you’ll receive tracking links automatically. Predicting the exact docking week is tricky, as logistics often use broad timeframes, but rest assured, the cargo is en route.
In a Nutshell:
Reliable logistics partners are harder to find than a needle in a haystack.
The games are crafted to perfection, weighing in at 2.8kg (6.17 lbs) – a true DELUXE treasure.
All shipments are insured, ensuring both you and the treasure are well-protected.
We’ve never intentionally hoisted the delay flag.
A Glimpse at the Delay’s Timeline:

Hey there, Loyal Supporters!
We recently embarked on a journey to Essen, Germany, for SPIEL, and it's safe to say it was an unforgettable experience. There, we had the pleasure of connecting with some of our incredible backers, meeting influential publishers and distributors, as well as introducing our game to a host of new fans and board game enthusiasts.
Given the delay in our game shipments, the only copies we could show at SPIEL were a limited few, only for trying out the game. We're deeply grateful for the overwhelming support, and a big shout-out to those who made on-the-spot pre-orders!
Watching everyone enjoy the game – laughing, strategizing, and eagerly inquiring about its availability – was the highlight of our trip!
So, where do we stand with shipments? For our American backers: Your games are set to roll out in November. Europeans: Gear up for a December shipment. Everyone else: December is your month as well.

Ahoy, fine supporters! We're inching closer to the fulfillment that will start during October, and we couldn't be more thrilled. For our friends across the pond in the United States, your bounty is already on the open ocean, making its way to you. As for our European backers, your treasure troves are being prepared for maritime voyage as we speak.
We've been deep in the trenches with our distribution and fulfillment partners, ensuring everything runs as smoothly as possible.
Much of our energy has also been devoted to our upcoming appearance at SPIEL in Essen. We have Booth 3W102 reserved, where we're excited to showcase Lying Pirates and reveal a few delightful surprises. Misha, Mikaela, Stefan, and myself will all be there, and we'd be thrilled if you join us to play a round and experience what's new. However, a ESSEN Pickup won't be possible simp
